Billy on Steve Jobs and how Apple, not Microsoft, got tablets right

In a rare emotional interview, Bill Gates talked about a wide variety of topics, including a meeting with rival and sometimes friend, Steve Jobs, during the Apple co-founder's last days.

The Microsoft Chairman also found time to applaud Jobs and his sense of design in an interview with Charlie Rose on CBS's 60 Minutes.

When asked by the show host what he wished he could've had that Jobs had, Gates accepted that it was Steve's sense of design.

"His sense of design, that everything had to fit a certain aesthetic. The fact that he, with as little engineering background as he had, it shows that design can lead you in a good direction. And so phenomenal products came out of it."

Gates also touched upon a meeting he had with Steve Jobs during the latter's last days, saying the two talked about what they had learnt in their life, and about their families. He said that Jobs was not melancholic, despite knowing his fate, and that he talked about other things, including what more could be done through the use of technology and even showed him his new boat.

All About Movie Tags(/what Is A DvdRip,Cam Etc. )

CAM -
A cam is a theater rip usually done with a digital video camera. A mini tripod is sometimes used, but a lot of the time this wont be possible, so the camera make shake. Also seating placement isn't always idle, and it might be filmed from an angle. If cropped properly, this is hard to tell unless there's text on the screen, but a lot of times these are left with triangular borders on the top and bottom of the screen. Sound is taken from the onboard microphone of the camera, and especially in comedies, laughter can often be heard during the film. Due to these factors picture and sound quality are usually quite poor, but sometimes we're lucky, and the theater will be fairly empty and a fairly clear signal will be heard.

All About FTP Must Read!

Well, since many of us have always wondered this, here it is. Long and drawn out. Also, before attempting this, realize one thing; You will have to give up your time, effort, bandwidth, and security to have a quality ftp server.
That being said, here it goes. First of all, find out if your IP (Internet Protocol) is static (not changing) or dynamic (changes everytime you log on). To do this, first consider the fact if you have a dial up modem. If you do, chances are about 999 999 out of 1 000 000 that your IP is dynamic. To make it static, just go to a place like h*tp://www.myftp.org/ to register for a static ip address.

BandWidth Explained!

Most hosting companies offer a variety of bandwidth options in their plans. So exactly what is bandwidth as it relates to web hosting? Put simply, bandwidth is the amount of traffic that is allowed to occur between your web site and the rest of the internet. The amount of bandwidth a hosting company can provide is determined by their network connections, both internal to their data center and external to the public internet.

Backtracking EMAIL Messages

Tracking email back to its source: Twisted Evil
cause i hate spammers... Evil or Very Mad

Ask most people how they determine who sent them an email message and the response is almost universally, "By the From line." Unfortunately this symptomatic of the current confusion among internet users as to where particular messages come from and who is spreading spam and viruses. The "From" header is little more than a courtesy to the person receiving the message. People spreading spam and viruses are rarely courteous. In short, if there is any question about where a particular email message came from the safe bet is to assume the "From" header is forged.

23 suggestions that will improve Windows XP performance

Since defragging the disk won't do much to improve Windows XP performance, here are 23 suggestions that will. Each can enhance the performance and reliability of your customers' PCs. Best of all, most of them will cost you nothing.
1.) To decrease a system's boot time and increase system performance, use the money you save by not buying defragmentation software -- the built-in Windows defragmenter works just fine -- and instead equip the computer with an Ultra-133 or Serial ATA hard drive with 8-MB cache buffer.
2.) If a PC has less than 512 MB of RAM, add more memory. This is a relatively inexpensive and easy upgrade that can dramatically improve system performance.

8 People Can Use The Same Msn Dial Up Account

its easy really. want to have an entire family on dial-up with just one bill?
step one. purchase 20 dollar a month subscription to MSN unlimited access dial up. This will include an MSN 9 cd which you will need. With the software installed, fill up your secondary account slots with new users. Make sure you pick @msn if it gives you the choice, hotmail email addresses will not work..
say the secondary account is touchthesky@msn.com type in the Dial up connection
USER : MSN/touchthesky
PASS: ******* (whatever)
connect to your local msn phone number and the other people you gave secondary accounts to will be able to do the same, while you are connected. Its a sweet deal considering everyone is paying about 2 bucks a month for internet access, especially if you cannot get broadband. if you wanted to sell off the access to people you could actually make money doing this.. but i do not suggest it.
I used to be an msn tech and this was a little known secret even to most of the employees.
After you do this you do not need the software any more. I would suggest keeping it on to micromanage everyone else's accounts. and for the simple fact that if they don't pitch in, cut them off HEHEHE
i'm on broadband now so i dont care if i tell you my little secret. anyone else knew of this?

[PHP] Navigations

<?php
if($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'] == "SoD")
 print "owns you!";
else
 print "don't front!";
?>

Description: Instead of calling files like ( index.php?str=blah ) , you could do ( index.php?SoD ) and it would print out "owns you!". You can add more strings in there, this is just an example.

   $vars = explode(",", urldecode(getenv('QUERY_STRING')));
   $v1 = array_shift($vars);
   $v2 = array_shift($vars);
   $v3 = array_shift($vars);
   switch ($v1) {
       case 'first.1': {
           print("This is v1, first string case 'file.php?first.1'.");
           break;
           }
      case 'first.2': {
      switch ($v2) {
           case 'second': {
               switch($v3) {
                   case 'third': {
                     print("This is v3, the last case 'file.php?first.2,second,third'.");
                     break;
                   }
               }
           }
       }
       }
   }

Description: This basically does what the 1st one does but with more strings and a different seperator rather than '&'. I don't really want to go into too much detail on the thread so if people are confused or need explaining, reply or PM me.
That's it for the navigation as I am not going to do the other due to they're everywhere else and I wanted to be different and show everyone this method.

A Boy and His Atom: The world's shortest movie

IBM says it has made the tiniest stop-motion movie ever - a one-minute video of individual carbon monoxide molecules repeatedly rearranged to show a boy dancing, throwing a ball and bouncing on a trampoline.

Each frame measures 45 by 25 nanometers - there are 25 million nanometers in an inch - but hugely magnified, the movie is reminiscent of early video games, particularly when the boy bounces the ball off the side of the frame accompanied by simple music and sound effects.

The movie is titled "A Boy and His Atom."

iOS 7 said to sport a look that's different, yet familiar

The next iteration of Apple's iOS mobile operating system will sport a very flat look, getting rid of glossy icons and user interface elements, and skeumorphic designs, if a new report is to be believed.
Online publication, 9to5Mac, cites multiple people who have seen or have knowledge of iOS 7,codenamed "Innsbruck," Apple's upcoming mobile operating system, to report that it would feature some redesigned elements, which could be on the lines of Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system's Metro/ Modern UI. However, the report also indicates that the fundamental elements of the OS would remain the same including its core apps, home and lock screens, so that existing users feel at home, and there's no learning curve. The similarity to Windows Phone would be in terms of getting rid of elements like gradients completely.
